CONDUCTING SYSTEM STUDIES AND MODELING PROJECTS
HHI provides consulting services with respect to hydrological system analysis, groundwater resources evaluation and development studies, soil and groundwater contamination assessments and remediation evaluations, groundwater modeling, and subsurface contaminant transport and fate studies
ADVISING, REVIEWING, TROUBLE-SHOOTING
HHI provides advise in project planning and in-depth review of project progress and deliverables, such as reports and electronic products, with respect to scientific soundness, correctness of used methodology and techniques, analysis and interpretation of data, and accuracy and reliability of conclusions and recommendations; troubleshooting project weaknesses and advising courses of corrective action; and providing technical guidance and independent oversight on project-by-project base.
HHI provides senior research, consulting, and expert-witness services involving hydrological and groundwater systems, modeling projects, and soil and ground water contamination problems, including water resources protection and development, conjunctive use of groundwater and surface water, aquifer storage, mine and construction site dewatering, and groundwater contamination and remediation resulting from agricultural, industrial and transport operations and waste management practices.
Litigation support research includes historic, technical and scientific aspects of planning, construction and operation of facilities influencing water
quantity and quality; the generation, migration, and mitigation of contamination; 'hindcasting' of cause-effect issues, evaluation of efficiency and cost-effectiveness of site investigations and remedial activities, and
assessment of the influence of federal and state regulations on all stages of the investigations and remedial activities.
HHI operates as an independent contractor, performing work under limited duration contracts, either on a hourly base or a product deliverable base; providing companies flexibility in project management, task execution, and cost control, while maintaining the advantages of having a senior expert involved.
